About
Having studied Anthropology at the UNMSM (2007) and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), and having as well several diplomas and certificates in Science, Technology and Digital Society and a rich professional experience and academic involvement into various organisations devoted to the promotion of civil society participation and technology such as LinuxChix Peru, The Public Voice, among others, I would like to deepen my anthropological research on the human-machine interaction through the computer in the context of computer learning, e-learning and digital literacy programmes. The orientation of this network is particularly relevant to my academic development since I consider the elucidation of the mechanics of sociotechnological processes to be a prerequisite to understand our society evolution. In the project of my bachelor degree thesis Technological Networks and Knowledge Dynamics in Informal Computer Services Conglomerates: Wilson Galleries in Lima, Peru, I put emphasis  to use new theoretical tools and methodologies of the complex systems science and the social networks theory for anthropological research. Research focuses on the structure and properties of informal networks of technological communication: their typology, connectivity, clustering, etc. trying to elucidate their functional adaptation for the spreading of knowledge under the constrictions of the formal system by carrying out a two-level anthropological analysis of the involved agents and their interactions.
My master degree in anthropology thesis at the ULB led me to carry out a microethnography study of the human-machine interaction in a digital literacy center in Brussels that intends to highlight biological and identity changes linked to the use of a computer in a learning environment.
