Thesis Title: Roman enamelled Brooches in Gallia Belgica: techno-typological study and economic implications
About
As a graduate in Archaeology (Brussels) and Archaeological Science (Oxford), my research projects mainly focus on ancient metals, especially its decorations techniques (Plating, inlay, enamelling, etc).
After having some work experiences in Archaeological Science (Sofia University and British Museum) and Museum (Assistant Curator of Greek and Roman collection at the Musée royal de Mariemont), I am currently reading for a PhD in History, Art and Archaeology at the Free University of Brussels (ULB) and the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA). My PhD thesis focuses on the technology on Roman enamelled Brooches.
My interests are various : ancient materials and technology, bioarchaeology, application of science in archaeological and museum issues.
